You can find meanings for both? See I cant type in kanji... and I only know two anyway (the one for watashi and the one for mountain lol) so when I google a word or look it up in the dictionary I can only use the romaji. I can find both in google... but I cant find a single word in my japanese to english dictionary that starts tasuka- in the dictionary. just tasukeru... but yeah its too confusing!!! lol. I'll figure it out one day... like 60 years from now. /headdesk.
TY!!

PFFT You are helping me, simply by having someone to throw ideas back and forth with. Even if we are wrong, eventually I'll figure it out! lol! And that websites helpful! Thank you!!!

Yeah I'm pretty sure shes not saying tasuke arimashita. If I were to write it as she says it, she says "ta-s-ka-ri-ma-sh-ta" And we know theres no S on its own so it has to be su. Its probably some rule on how to change words to mean something. Maybe its one of those levels of politeness things I'm still trying learn. I'm fairly sure the root word is tasukeru. At least that makes the most sense to me... I have no problem with the word itself. I just have this weird need to break down words and Understand the roots of them. It makes it easier for me to learn how to conjugate them later, and how to use them ><

Thank you for helping, even if you feel like you havent, you have!!
