I got a promotion/new job today and a raise. It's true, I now have a real, meaningful, full time job in nonprofit.

I don't think I actually have to apply for another job since I quit the Beeb --- I already have another lined up with the company I work for part time now! So soon I will be full-time at a nonprofit enjoying the full benefits I already have, 15 days of vacation, and 9 sick days. Suh-weet.

I went to the big hippie-fest that is the May Day Parade today. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, and it ended up being an insanely good time. My allergies are better and the weather was GORGEOUS. I got a super sunburn because over the winter I forgot what the sun does to my skin.
