Simon's haircut

Today Simon got his long hair all cut off. It was bittersweet for me because it was like a symbol of him getting older. In some ways it seems like yesterday he was getting his first haircut.

I love the picture of mini Simon striding toward the chair. I bet his new hair will be cool for the summer. My son had long hair as a little kid, but now he prefers keeping it short. Less hair in his hockey helmet.
