Work drama!

Janet is as upset today as I have ever seen her, to the point of tears, only this time it's justified. Munir is back in town. What's one of the first things he does? Go in and yell at her for not paying his family's frickin bills in full and on time! Dude, if you normally make $5000, but all your bills exceed that amount, that is not her fault! ( Read more... )

Wow, why doesn't he just hire a personal assistant for his family to help with that shit?

Did you miss the part where he's already spending more than he's making? Oh, and he thinks Dad's personal assistant should be his personal assistant as well, cause she's got nothing else to do.

I *know* I've asked these questions before but:

1. Why is an idiot like Munir still working for/with your dad and...
2. Why isn't HE OR HIS WIFE PAYING THE MOTHER-FARKING BILLS themselves?! I don't need an assistant to help my pay my bills. I've been paying them on my own every month since I was 18. It's not that hard!

1. With, and I don't really understand it fully either. It's a long story.
2. He's out of the country, and his wife is completely incapable of handling anything cause he doesn't let her. They are originally from the middle east, and he still has that mindset that women are less than men. Pisses everyone here off. His kids are coddled, too. One of them is in college, and should be able to handle a lot of this crap for his Dad, but he's completely hopeless as well. It's sad.

Supposedly Munir graduated from Harvard, but I don't see how that's possible, since he can't structure a sentance or turn on a computer.

Did I mention they also get government supplements?

Ha... Har...

Wait, I'm having trouble saying it. Haaaaaaaaaaarvard?! He can't pay bills or turn a computer on and he's a Harvard graduate?!! Oh, I'd demand my money back. Seriously.

Government supplements? Combined, we probably make less than Munir does a month and we don't get, nor do we ever expect any kind of government supplements, thank you very much. How is it possible that he gets government support of any kind?

Oh, this is soooo amusing in a strange twisted sort of way! Do let us know what Janet winds up doing. I'd probably exercise less tact than Janet and would probably be telling him off for about... 72 hours straight. LOL.

I know. No way would I have passed a student who can't form complete sentances. Seriously, you should see him try to draft a letter. *shudders*

The way his payment is structured, it's booked as a loan rather than income, so according to the government he isn't making anything. So his family is living it up. Makes me so mad, I could spit.

Janet spent about an hour in conference with my Dad. She's doing better now, but I think part of that is that she knows she's going on vacation starting this weekend. By the time she gets back, he'll probably be out of the country again!
