What I should be doing: reading my historiography book. It's not that it's not interesting, it's just... really... boringly written.

What I am doing instead: eyeing new journal and pen and wanting to write more nothingness, wanting to read Oryx and Crake, trying to get over my embarrassement at yet another botched French interaction.
