I was sitting here reading about the "Girl Next Door," nodding my head, thinking "Yep. That's Maizie. Cookies, kids, cats..."

I just realized what that book they're promoting is. Its a guide for GUYS on what to cook for the [insert label here] girl they're into to impress her. That's kind of shitty. esp when you read the excerpts about how to get the "party girl" in the palm of your hand. They also say the "indie girl" will pretty much date a guy no matter what he looks like but will judge him solely on books, music, and his film choices. Sorry, folks. girls aren't that easy to catagorize and impress.

i read it too. like "hmm, this is sneaky." but nobody fits totally into one box, and there's always a chance that the girl won't like the food anyways?
