It is good that you had more good things listed than bad ones. That seems like a place to start the new year!

I hope you have fun on your trip! Ireland is very lovely, that is my only travel advice. Um I mean, unless you desire incredibly detailed recapitulations of "places in southern England and their various merits."

sounds like it will be a good year, though!

I meant to add "...where I have studied." Um, London is very nice! I like art museums and history, and lots of that is free, which is also nice for getting out of the rain even if you do not want to see paintings all the time. If you like trains (I assume as a right-thinking human you do) they can be very nice and can go exciting places eg the southeast.

There are other things, and I can go on, but I should stop I think. It will be fun!
