I passed my first year of university and may progress to the second year.

My average mark is 55%. Happy to have made it, but must really work harder next year. By "work harder", I mean "get sick less" - it'll be interesting to see how that one works out =/

Thanks, I've been meaning to update for weeks and I've just been so busy and sick on alternating cycles. Thinking of deleting lots of stuff and giving the LJ a proper overhaul, setting aside a time at least once a week to update and that sort of thing (I'm really obsessed with developing routines at the moment!)

Hope all is good with you :) xx

Good job, sticking with studies while feeling blurrgh must be next to impossible.
Here's to less sick, more stuff stuffed in your brain and more smiles of course.

Congrats on passing!! That's brill-- at least now you know you've got the summer to chill and rest up without any revisiony type things and hopefully that'll do you some good xxx

Something tells me your grading system does not equate to ours. Regardless of the fact that I have no idea what that number means (here that percentage would easily be an F), congrats to you, and it's good to know you're still with us. :)

Yeah, our grading system at university is insane - 40% is a pass and a 3rd class degree, 50-60% is a 2:2, 60-70% is a 2:1 and 70%+ is a total nightmare to obtain and is a First Class degree.

For instance, G's dad is a professor and apparently never gives higher than like 80% because in his opinion if you're going to give that you're saying the work should be published.

It's difficult to adjust to for an A-grade student :/ I'm aiming for at least a 2:1 overall so I need to work much harder :(
