1. If they kill off Giles, I will hunt Joss Whedon down and beat him senseless. Then I will stop watching the show he no longer has the kneecaps or spine to make :)

2. Andrew, Warren, Jonathan. The trio of nerds or Andrew Warren Jonathan, new hit teen sensation!

If he kills off Giles, I'm boycotting Buffy, and Angel too out of spite. Of course, both shows are running nearly the same plot right now anyway, so it's not like I'm missing much.

Oh, totally unrelated, but did you catch MST3K this weekend? It was actually pretty funny for the recent ones. And as a huge bonus, both TV's Frank and Joel showed up. Woohoo!

Yeah, between the whole late 80's motif, the making fun of the writer putting herself in the movie ("Ok, I lay on the bed for a while, so how pretty I am. . ."), and the fact that it had Joe Estevez starring in it ("No, I'm not Martin Sheen."), I nearly wet myself with laughter.

Afterwards, I also found this amusing review on IMDB.

Rightfully skewered on Mystery Science theater 3000 for bad acting, bad special effects and bad plot, this stinker should be avoided if at all possible.

i will be too mad if Giles goes. I think Buffy and Spike should be a couple when Spike works out some of his issues though.... :)

Joss has 16 eppies of Ripper sold.. Kill Giles and the post-Buffy Ripper doesn't work ;)

Course, I'm not sure Giles is what everyone thinks he is... I've been rewatching Buffy on FX and it seems to me that the bumbling librarian who gets cold-conched every episode is someone very different when Buffy's not around. Take his attitude with Snyder in Season 3, the episode before Buffy and her mom meet with Snyder... There's a reason Buffy's letter of recommendation cannot come from "a British librarian."

Or his comment when he killed Glorificus/Ben. "She's not like us."

Aye, there's more to Ripper than meets the eye, though most the gals seems to like what meets the eye well enough ;)
