A lot has happened! I left my job at Wayside and now I'm working at Great Plains SPCA as the Director of Volunteers and Staff Development!
My goal this year is to run five 5K's!

Look out New York, New York!
Working at an animal shelter is one of the most gratifying things I’ve ever done in my life. It can be so rewarding to see homeless animals find homes and this week, my job sent me to New York, New York for the taping of the Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl. Autumn Breeze
I absolutely adore Halloween. I love decorating, giving out candy and spider rings to children dressed up in their favorite costumes and/or characters. I really enjoy drinking apple cider and eating caramel covered apples, but the best is watching all my old Halloween movies on the couch, cuddled up with my two beautiful dogs, Zoey and Clarabelle. Better KC, KCTV 5
I had a 5 minute "LIVE" segment on Better KC, KCTV 5 discussing animal safety during the Halloween season. I can't even begin to describe the adrenaline rush of knowing that you're on "LIVE" television with many viewers. Happy Birthday to Me!
My birthday was really on August 1st, but my mother and I celebrated today. It was a fabulous day with my mother, it's not very often I get time alone with my mother considering my sister is usually involved in all of our plans. Growing up.
I never get rid of this account because it's so much fun to read over all the things I thought and wrote when I was younger. I started this journal when I was about 18 years old and I will be 27 in less than a month. Nearly a decade and i'm a completely different person.
