I feel like I should give the 'Doctor Who' season finale a good enough review, because basically for the past idk 2 years it has taken over the role Twilight used to hold on me as far as obsessions go. As I haven't seen the episode I can't say too much but I will agree on a few things. When did River fall in love with The Doctor? Or he her. I can tell you, River is probably in love with the idea of The Doctor. This is why I never understood their relationship, their timelines are opposite to each other right? I think I need to rewatch Season 1 again. I want to read all the great Nine x Rose fanfiction rec me some, because I'm just in a foul mood.

Everything you said is spot on. Do yourself a favor and just don't watch the finale. The last two episodes were decent. Just remember it that way.

There's a really good multi chaptered one. That is gorgeous and I mean gorgeous but it's not complete. But I would recommend it anyway. It's a Human Nature AU and it's totally unique. It pains me that is not complete but it's worth the read anyway

I think even if we didn't see the love, it was there due to the timeline thing. With River knowing him more and he knowing her less, (still confusing to me now) they loved each other in the beginning but as time went on she loved him more and he knew and loved her less. It was just shown on the show in a weird order, not like the previous seasons.

It's still confusing for me to follow. I don't like how they've handled her character at all. To me she had so much potential and this past season they pretty much made her a joke imo.

I finally watched the finale last night and I have to say that although I loved last season, this season for me was a bit of a disappointment. (Incidentally, the Silurian episodes of season 5 were my least favorite and I tend to skip them when I re-watch ( ... )
