Sensodyne pronamel toothpaste really helps! I grind when stressed and my dentist gave me samples to try--it really helped with the pain and at my next dentist appointment she couldn't even see the cracking :) Well, until the next time I was grinding ;-)

Good luck with the dentist visits, I hope he's more gentle next time. I started going to the dentist last year for the first time in many many many years. I'm still in the process of getting fillings for all the cavities I didn't even know I had.

You didn't know you had them? Did you feel any pain, because of them?

I have to go back to the dentist myself. I was supposed to go back in December 2009 and forgot about the appointment. I just haven't made another one. :X

I've always had issues with the dentist anyway. I started the orthodontic process at 9 and wasn't done until I was 18. I still get squeamish and what not 20 years after that ended.

Did you have to wear braces/head gear when you were younger?

I had a palette separator at 9 and until I was 10. I got braces at 10 an had them until 14 almost 15. Then I had retainer until I was 18.

Yup, good times.
