So, I'm going away for a business trip next week and after a couple years of working from home, it's a bit of a challenge to come up with two weeks worth of office attire. It's also been interesting to note how my body is slowly changing as I stick to the diet plan. I'm more slender overall, which is exciting. Not as small as I was when I lost a lot of weight through exercise a few years ago, but not too far away either. Maybe in another six months I'll be close to that, which is a good timeline since it's allowing me to get used to the changes slowly and not just look in the mirror and have no clue who I'm looking at.
And yet, the recent change in my waist size totally took me by surprise. I did notice that I was able to take my belt in another notch but when shopping for a new belt in a store that carries clothing that I consider too small for me, I did fit into the occasional large size belt that they had on hand. Amazing! It took trying on a couple before I could really believe that I'd suddenly gotten down to a size that was carried in stock by a non-plus-size store. Could've knocked me over with a feather!
Unfortunately, the feet are enormous. I'm blaming the Texas heat and have decided to try to find a comfy pair in whatever size I'm currently at instead of trying to force them into shoes that will fit better in the winter. You take the victories where and when you can get them!
