Now my hesitation in joining facebook was that people i did not to find me would. And sadly a few have (but my profile is VERY limited if you're not on my friends list, and then you can always block em, so i dont really worry now). This last one was funny in a sense

Good for you! Although, when I volunteered for a domestic violence shelter/agency, I realized that the legal system does not favor women...even when there's proof. When I read Alice Sebold's "Lucky" (a memoir)she writes about how her court case was the only successful one prosecuted in Syracuse, New York in the past decade (i think?) That's scary, considering how progressive New York is.

Also, the legal system would like to say it favors minorities and those with disabilities. Again, not so much.
