It's not surprising that its complicated - really, how could it be simple, when no congress people that voted for the bill even read the bill? What is it, over 1000 pages long?
Perhaps you can detail each additional regulation more succinctly, while maintaining all necessary information contained in those over 1000 pages? Please do.
Right, so its not going to do anything to increase the quality of health care or anything to stem the costs - the costs will almost certainly increase and increase at an increasing rate. Interesting that the one type of medical procedure that is elective (not controlled by the gov) is the only type that has been getting cheaper over time - plastic surgery.

As for the organization of the health care, http://www.rollcall.com/pdfs/healthchart072309.pdf doesn't seem so simple either.
