As an expert on the Die Hard movies, I was happy with it. At the same time though, I was thinking that if you took away some of the John McClane references, it could have just as easily been entitled "Random Movie about Bruce Willis Playing a Cop Escorting a Kind and All Hell Breaks Loose." In other words, putting the Die Hard name on it helps it sell. That being said, it was good.

My biggest complaint is I did not like the villian. He wasn't tough or witty, like Hans and Simon Gruber, those villains you actually liked a little bit. This villian, he was just kind of a wussy.

In conclusion, Holly Gennaro is a bitch. McClane saves her and her business friends in Die Hard. He saves her from a plane crash in Die Hard 2. He saves the entire city of New York in Die Hard with a Vengeance, and he saves the country in Live Free or Die Hard, after all that, you really think the woman could cut him a little slack.
