My Car -- The Final (I hope) Chapter
Picked up my car from the dealer today. Total Bill: $3348.86. In my opinion, it's still running hot. The gauge is still right in the middle which is much higher than it used to be. It used to run right around the quarter mark all the time. I realize the car is getting older and probably will run hotter than it used to, but it makes me nervous, especially after I got a new radiator, water pump, head gaskets and timing belt. The thing should be perfect. The guy assures me that this is normal and that after they replaced the head gaskets and all that it was running much hotter and the new radiator is what brought it down to where it is now. I guess I have no choice but to take his word for it. What I think I will do is take a day off and take it up to CT for the next oil change and have them check it as well. I really don't want to have to go through this again. We'll see how she does going to North Carolina, that'll be the real test...
