I was recently thinking about how Vista would be accepted in the marketplace. Honestly, I'm not sure it's going to have as much demand... business customers (like my co.) are getting increasingly frustrated with having to do desktop refreshes to support new OS, and to retest all their applications.
My co. is still running 2000 on all our critical business desktops (customer service, claims processing) and on some of our administrative machines.
OTOH, it will be the only OS available on consumer machines starting real soon now. I wonder what that does to the price point of consumer machines.
