I'm not sure how other states handle this sort of thing, but in Florida, anything to do with your car (license registration, driver's license, etc.) always comes up for renewal on your birthday. Nice, huh? "Happy Birthday! Now pay us lots of money to renew your auto registration!" Anyway, this year happened to be when my driver's license expired

That's damned stressful indeed!! My mother was legally blind, so she was never able to drive, but the idea of being able to, then having it taken away is worse!!

Yeah, I was pretty seriously freaked for a while there. Hopefully thete will be some kind of cure or treatment by the time I have to renew!
