I know exactly how you feel. I went through that for over 2 years before deciding to freelance (which is kinda like deciding to job search forever and ever). It's probably not your resume, networking, or anything like that that's keeping you from your 9-5. You are amazingly qualified and intelligent, and many companies would be very lucky to have you. Keep your chin up!

You totally get it. I'm freelancing now...it feels great to have some money coming in but I really value stability. (I'm such a Virgo.) Thanks for the kind words! I had an interview that went well yesterday but I'm too afraid to get my hopes up.
