"Over there's the Forbidden Forest. And yes, it really is forbidden. All sorts of weird animals and strange people in there. My friends and I probably spend more time in there than we should...
"Oh, and that's the Whomping Willow." He points to an enormous and twisted tree whose branches appear to be flailing in the wind--except there is no wind. "Don't get too close to it; it doesn't like people, not one bit. Davey Gudgeon--he's one of the students--got too close, and he nearly lost an eye. There is a way to turn it off, but it's tricky."
