it's always prettier in person, but this one turned out pretty well, in spite of the barren trees.

Oh, see, I like the barren trees against that splashy sky! I've always loved the tracery of bare winter branches--it's one of the first things I remember thinking of as beautiful, when I was very small.

Oh how pretty!! I tried to capture a beautiful sky last week, but had my camera set wrong. When I went back to try again, the beauty of the colors had passed.
