That's a neat way to propose. I'm suprised she wasn't puzzled as to "why do you want me to break that now?" Unless she could sort of hear the rattling inside.
That is very strange though your school disallows public displays of affection. I've never heard of that before. I can' understand if they don't want people making out in plain view but things like holding hands, hugs, and normal enough kisses I'm suprised are seen as a no no. :( Thats really good though that the admin or whatever that title means left it alone. I think anyone would on a proposal unless it was something rather explicit and yours wasn't. Yours was very sweet. :)

Well I had stuffed the pig full of cotton so that it wouldn't rattle at all. There was actually also money inside - an Ohio state quarter and a North Carolina state quarter (our home states).
As to the PDA, yeah, it's a private school that sometimes seems overly restrictive :P But we deal with it.

I'm curious how you got the cotton in and the ring. Was the slot fairly wide in it?
I didn't realize there were private universities. I'd not given it much thought. I thought all of them were state run and had to answer to state standards. Just like up here all are provincially run but must answer to canada wide ministry of education standards. I just sort of figured the rest of the world was about the same. There I think is only one possibly private uni out here and that is trinity western.
Actually, the top part of it (the coin slot) was cut off by my dad. So the hole was actually level with the pig's back, and about a centimeter and a half wide by maybe 4 centimeters long. Plenty of room. The roses were actually stuck in it to cover up the larger hole, so that she wouldn't suspect :P
