Today's e-mail brings word of a new book from Interweave Press and Cheryl Oberle, who's also responsible for IP's Folk Shawls and Folk Vests, two of my early favorite themed pattern books:

Knitted Jackets

From the looks of the preview, the patterns share a certain aesthetic sensibility with those from Knit Kimono - no surprise, both are IP titles

why oh why is interweave so stingy with photos on their website? i don't understand it. i love their books, but i always have to go to a bookstore to actually get a good, close look because their website shows puny little images that barely show me shape and not much more.

i can see several jackets i like though.
