Wow.

That is a LOT of knitting. Also OMG SQUEE: those socks w/ those shoes! Brilliant!

And I admire your fortitude w/ the summer raglan... I like your decision to alternate the rayon w/ the black!

I tried swatching that rayon by itself and it was ... lurid. The black helps make it bearable. (-:

I love the jacket and the shawl is amazing.. I clicked through to the Knitty pattern and it looks incredibly complicated but such gorgeous results. I'm confused though, if its done on circs and knit in the round, how do you move up needle size, I didn't think that was possible once somethigns been joined?

It's easy - you just start knitting with the next size needle, and keep going until all the stitches have been transferred to the larger circ. Eventually you'll get to the point where the work is pretty bunched up on the needle, even with a pretty long cable, but that's not a problem (crowding on cirulars is fine, stretching is not.)

And honestly, it's not at all complicated, particularly once you get to the border - that's just a repeated pattern of increases and decreases, over and over and over.

*ponders* yes, I suppose that makes sense, probably a fiddly point where the joined area gets transferred.... thanks! :)
