Maybe it's just that folks aren't checking LJ as often anymore. I wish there were more people using, to be honest.

Thanks SQ & others for the brief conversation yesterday. I'll try to post back from time to time (especially for the sake of those who did reply), it's just hard when there aren't many people left on LJ to interact with.

I'm still on here but outside of some comms, LJ is *really* dead

It's like coming back to your hometown and seeing that the neighborhood is rotten, houses boarded up. A few people still live, but mostly empty and ghost townish.

Threads.. That's part of what makes LJ so special. and the communities. It just seems that everything is becoming dumbed down... facebook.. operating systems (have you seen/used Windows 8 yet?), news.. ugh.

Havent used Win 8 but it looks terrible. The nicest computer I have is running Vista which has suprisingly been good.

I do use Facebook a lot, I got sucked into because everyone is there.
