That's certainly odd. I've never had problems like that on either Vista box.

Oh, and yay ePSXe.

I think its a weird problem when running an application like sound forge 8 that needs to be boosted to admin rights. When it generates the data files, it must set a bit somewhere that vista interprets the as a negative number or something.... fucking crazy 2's compliment.... I need to do more tests to be sure, but vista should not be keeping tabs on what files I generate from what programs... thats just wrong. Keep in mind, I am using the 64 bit version of Ultimate.

Finally, yes, ePSXe, but purely for Final Fantasy 9 with the texture filtering :P. Oddly on my BEAST of a machine, it randomly skips... maybe because I am having it move too much memory at once (I am using 1920 x 1200) when I start filtering? Who knows...

You're using the bumpmap shaders for FF9, aren't you? Admit it.

And I'm using Vista32, so that MIGHT be it.

It checks out fine, the same file counts correctly in linux or if I right click and say properties.... They must be using some weird sort of bit-shifting to count or something to alter precision when displayed in status bar. But every file over a meg counts correctly @_@...
