My PSI fevers are lasting longer and longer... I wonder if it's because I'm learning stronger things? I guess I can't really complain about getting sick if it means I'm improving, but... it's really not easy to stay in bed.

I still think those Transformers are kind of creepy.

Rope Snake's been really nice to me, though. He's been cheering me up. He ( Read more... )

Oh crap it was a fever I should have guessed noooo *guilt guilt guilt*

Hey, does chicken soup help at all with PSI fevers? Then again, anything I cook would probably just make it worse.

I, uh. I went with Lash. It was really, really fancy... I felt so out of place the whole time. You didn't miss much. I should have stayed behind to look after you though. I'm going to come over right now.

Well... starve a cold, feed a fever, right?

I'm still glad you went. You don't need to worry about me, the fevers aren't that bad. ...But thanks.

I always get those mixed up. But I'll see if Nancy has any soup available, otherwise... uh. I'll try not to burn it. Microwave?

But if they're keeping you in bed all the time that is a bad thing, isn't it? Then again, just think of how crazy strong you'll have to be once they stop.

So do I, to be honest. I'm sure it'll be fine, Jeff. Making food isn't that different from chemistry, right?

I probably could keep doing stuff as usual if I needed to. They aren't contagious or anything. It's just... you don't really feel like it once a fever sets in, you know?

Haha... good point. I've always got something to look forward to. It does kind of make you wonder, though...

Oh - You were unwell? Sorry to hear that, buddy! Is there anything you need or whatever?

Thanks for asking, but I'll be fine. These things always go away on their own.

Sure - but waiting for them to pass can't be any fun and if I can get you something to help you pass the time a little happier, I'd be plenty happy to.

Um... if it's not too much trouble, do you think you could get my homework from the classes I've missed? It's only a couple day's worth, but I don't want to fall too far behind.

That sucks...

Hey, anything I can do to help?

I... no, I'm fine. You went to the ball too, right? How was that?

I dunno, my lazy mun never logged it. All right, if you're sure... Well, I'm right across the room if you need anything.

The ball was okay... Uneventful. At least I didn't make a total ass of myself.

Thanks, Mike.

Haha... when you think about how most celebrations go around here, maybe uneventful isn't such a bad thing.

I never like getting sick, either. I hope you're doing fine otherwise. But what is a PSI fever? How is it different from regular fevers?

Oh, um... PSI fevers are... it's a little hard to explain. I guess you could say I have psychic powers. Right before I learn something new, I get really feverish. That's why I call them PSI fevers. Because I'm not really sick, just... um... learning.

Psychic powers! Oh, that's incredible! I've always wondered what it would be like to have those. Can you read thoughts? Can you see the future? I would think little fevers here and there would be worth having mental powers.

O-oh, no, I didn't mean to complain...! I... um... someone showed me how to read minds, but I don't know the future. My PSI is nostly just for healing and protecting.

You gotta tell me your secret, I haven't had any fevers at all lately!

I think you might be the lucky one, Kumatora. I don't really know what makes them happen, but... um... I have been practicing healing a lot, if that makes a difference.
