He's so cute! Congrats on the grail get, I'm sure he'll fit in perfectly with the Mewtwo family :) I absolutely love plush with plastic eyes, for some reason I think they're cuter than the embroidered eyes.
im noticing (just based on my mewtwos) that plastic eyes seem primarily to have been phased out once the 90s ended! i guess because they pose such a choking hazard, and pokemon really is for young kids (hence why its a big deal that your trainer is ten in the games). only exception of late seems to be the detective pikachu plush for some reason??
There are official Tomy ones of this guy as well as the mirage which is slightly darker and has no zipper to reverse. Ive had both at one time during my collecting life.
