Membership Application Post
Greetings, prospective pkmncollectors members!

Commenting here does not submit your membership request automatically!
Our community uses a moderated membership system -- after submitting a membership request here, we ask that applicants leave a quick comment below to help streamline the approval process. Please ensure you have created a LiveJournal account (and validated your email address!) prior to commenting. We cannot accept Facebook, Twitter, Google, or other OpenID accounts into the community at this time.
In your comment, you can include whatever name you'd like to go by, your general interests, what kind of Pokemon merchandise you'd like to collect, collection pictures, etc. While really long comments are not necessary, the more information provided, the easier it will be for you to post an introduction post to the community once you're approved. Introduction posts not only enable you to meet new members right away, but they count toward communication and can help expedite the process of obtaining sales permission.
This post logs IP addresses. Your IP will be screened against members who have previously been banned (it is very, very rare for anyone to be banned). If IP addresses are very similar, you may be asked to provide additional information. All comments will be screened for privacy - that way, there are no spoilers to introduction posts! While you're waiting for approval, consider reviewing the community rules to stay well-informed!
**Please Note: If LiveJournal gives you a message that your comment is marked as spam, we won't be able to see it. Please resubmit your comment with no links or pictures. We never ignore someone on purpose! If you don't hear back from us in a timely manner, just post here again, so we can figure out what happened. :)
If your request is not approved within 2 weeks or is rejected without being given a reason*, please contact any of the moderation team ( link). *This is usually an accident that happens when updating the queue. We just need to make sure you're not a spam bot and not someone trying to get around a ban. If you're not one of those, there's no reason for you to be rejected! :D
