We have been victorious against Cerulean gym. Less so with fishing. Leafeon proved invaluable once more, just like in Pewter. He will not be my top choice for the next gym, though I think he could have held his own against Minun and Plusle. I am quite excited to see Vermillion, regardless

I was planning on using Growlithe in your gym Very well. I will be glad to meet your Leafeon in Celadon. I... actually did not intentionally evolve Leafeon the way he did. I'm still not entirely sure what happened.

Oh Tezuka.~ We could always have our Leafeon match sometime after our Gym battle. Really? Did you have plans to evolve your Eevee into something else? Eevee's evolution to Leafeon has always stumped me, but it seems like they evolve in a place with lots of vegetation. I presume yours evolved at Viridian Forest?

I had not even planned on Eevee as a starter until Professor Yamato insisted... I had not picked a particular evolution. Hm. I am happy with the result.

Maybe you should just toss the fishing rod. You might have even better luck that way. I mean, I was just minding my own business and this angry Gyarados charged at me!

It is a rod my grandfather gave me, I will not toss it away. What happened with Gyarados?

Oh, I only meant that figuratively. Like put it away for the time being, at least till this weather passes. Oh, Gyarados? I got lucky and it ran away after I got some lots of help. It left behind an egg though ... which will probably hatch into a baby Magikarp. Oh boy.

Have you tried changing your lure? You'd be surprised what kind of things work. You could always use one of the Magikarp.
