I'm not alarmed, but I'm not exactly what you'd call pleased either. Giving more and more serious thought to staying across the pond semi-permenantly though.

Actually, I considered being in France this time around, but I thought I'd give you the courtesy of more than three days warning, which is what my family in Berlin got. But next time I'll definitely be in France.
