Speaking of dudes, where does the little gay man inside you buy his nice shirts? I want to quality-ify my wardrobe too but the decade of t-shirts & jeans has stunted my ability to shop. I suppose I could just go into places and try stuff on.

I want to say that I only shop at the toniest stores and dress like the men in GQ, but, well, that would be a lie. Yesterday I discovered a nice little store called Steve & Barry's, where nothing seems to cost more than $14. A lot of it is crap, but the stuff that isn't still doesn't cost more than $14. Kohl's is good, because everything is always on sale, and if something isn't it will be next week; the people at Target seem to do a fine job as well. And when I'm feeling like I want to pretend that I'm trendy, I usually end up at H&M. That's about all I can handle at my current pay grade. Maybe someday I'll by the fine bespoke suits and handmade Italian shoes, but not now.

Okay, maybe I'll buy the shoes now.
