Scifi Friday - Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis

Got caught up on Scifi Friday episodes yesterday.

I had one episode of SG-1 and two episodes of Atlantis to watch.

I'm rather liking SG-1. No Daniel Jackson in this episode, unfortunately. But other than that, it was pretty good, I guess. Although how many times is that guy gonna keep coming back? How many lives does he have?

Yeah, Richard Kind's return to the Stargate franchise sucked. The episode was just terrible, and after followin' such a cool SG-1 / SGA crossover episode...

...ugh...

...and it ticked me off that the hella cool crossover episode was ignored, except for a throwaway line in the teaser.

Why couldn't they have done a full two hour crossover?!?

The Ronan episode was better than I thought it would be, though I didn't care for the idea of a Hive "king". What was up with that?

Actually, that Hive King guy reminded me of The Big Bad from season 1 of Buffy.

Also, I thought Wraith recovered from gunshots really quickly. I mean, I loved watching Ronan kickin' ass and all that - a TOTAL fangirl moment. And you know how I love to watch hot guys in dreads kickin' ass (ie., Andromeda)! However, last year the Wraith were alot harder to kill, IIRC.

But I'm trying to just set that bit aside and concentrate on hot guy in dreads. *lol*
