Who: Kurogane and Chii
What: Kurogane and Chii traveling together. Awkward cuteness, protective Kuro-huff, and probably a fight since this is the West and Kurogane all.

Of course Chii was able to be convinced to leave August. Of course they had little trouble finding a horse for her. Of course Kurogane was trying his best to ignore the traveling partner he had been stuck with. Not that he disliked Chii, he just rather have her at a distance, like most people. However Kurogane only had to make sure she stayed alive until they were back around August and hope Yuui wanted her back by then. The ex-law dog was more annoyed at the idea of the barkeep living alone then anything else.
It was silent most of the time, Kurogane not use to having someone to talk to and not interested in meaningless chatting anyways. When they first started out he had told her he had to go meet someone and after that... Hell, he didn't know what he was suppose to do with the girl. He was going to go get his guns back. Bringing Yuui's sister into Fei Wong's territory when he was suppose to be keeping her safe seemed counterproductive. Even if she was a bounty hunter. So he'd figure things out after he had his meeting.
He only changed their course slightly to head towards a black smudge on the horizon. It was a glorified trading post, the main store and stalls, saloon of course, and a hotel. Kurogane looked over at Chii, "... There'll be water if you need it."
