Fai was completely lost. Not that she let that fact show on her face or let the ease out of her movements. To anyone she just looked like a girl out for a stroll, maybe doing a little idle window shopping on the way. She would give proper greetings to those who looked like they would expect one, but nothing friendly enough to make them wish to stop and chat

Kurogane was walking by the inn again once she had turned around near the outskirts, deciding it was time to head home. She was surprised when she saw a strange blonde girl wandering around. One that she had never seen before. The way the other girl was wondering around suggested that she was lost, giving Kurogane the evidence for what she already knew. This girl was from outside of her town.

She decided to follow her for a bit, watching her wander with a hand on her sword at all times. With people traveling around and killing people, it couldn't hurt to be cautious with people you didn't know.

Turning down the side street, Fai let out a soft hum. She turned her head to glance at some crates absentmindedly. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed someone else enter the side street. She paid little attention to the woman, noting the sword. Fai decided to take a few turns to see if the other was following her. Aw, she was. Fai turned down another empty street, when she was sure the other had time to get around the corner, Fai came to a halt. She turned on her heel and smiled sweetly at the woman following her. In a slight sing-song she taunted, "You know... all you have to do is ask me."

Kurogane didn't like all the twists and turns that the other woman was taking, feeling that the whole situation was getting worse and worse by the minute. She did stop as soon as the other did, glaring at her. "Ask you what?" She growled, "What you're doing here wandering around?"
