Icontest #01

Trying to stay on track with my other LIMS communities, I am going to run a few icontests in the mean time. I am hoping this will keep the community going strong until it is time to start up Round 02!

:D That's a very awesome idea. I'll enter 1,2 and 5. I've tried to use the other two before and they turn out shit for some reason. Although when I enter round 2 I guess I need the practise.

I can quickly add it to the mid-week promos if you want?

placebo_lims is currently running inbetween lims icontest or something to that effect? (or is it affect? I can never remember which to use in some sentences.)

oh good! i'm so glad you like the idea :-) actually, i'm sure some of my inspiration came from your community! I've always love doing things in sets, I seem to go overboard at times but as long as there are people willing to participate I'm happy!

and a promo for this would be absolutly wonderful! I'll defiantly return the favor :-)

I forgot to ask my questions. lol Can it be them from music videos? Part 1-4.

And seeing as the main focus of 5 is song lyrics do they have to be in it? Like using lyrics to a song. Like in This Picture, he's holding a polariod, can you use the lyrics to accompany that and it's still kinda Placebo? Probably not but I thought I'd ask.

music videos work perfectly and as for part 5 you do not have to use images of the guys, the only rules for this part is to have the lyric, any stock image, placebo image, whatever you want to use to make the best icon you can is absolutly acceptable :-)

I might borrow this idea, of course crediting you for it, in between garnerlims. Don't want to have regular challenges because that's already being done at garner_stills. :)

I was trying to think of something to keep garnerlims active between rounds because one just stopped and the other one didn't get sign-ups. I'm quite adamant I'm going to make this one work. lol

It's alias_contest that's a pain in the arse. It's been dead so long and I feel so annoying promoting EVERYWHERE even though that's what all those communities are for. lol

yup, i'm treating this like a regular icontest community while we are in-between LIMS challenges :-)

no signing up necessary, voting will be for the favorite icons and no critiques for these icons, just a fun little challenge to keep you guys busy :-)
