(no subject)
This was an exercise we did where we were given a list of words, and had to write a ten-line poem using 5 of them, as well as an axiom that was messed with (something like "A penny saved is a penny earned").
The list of words was: Cliff, Needle, Voice, Whir, Blackberry, Cloud, Mother, Lick
Wake up early and be ready for bed kid.
You don't want to be the only late one.
Don't whir in bed, it's worthless.
I made toast with blackberry jam,
Makes you feel on cloud nine, right?
I'm your mother, listen to me!
Stop dawdling, get up and go!
Lick the lollipop that is today!
"Mom you're crazy.
You're the early bird that makes me squirm."
