Birthday Time!

[Today was Ichigo's birthday, and his dad had spoken to Akane last week about getting a surprise party set up for him.  It had taken her, his father, and both his sisters to get everything and everyone together.  All in all, she was proud of what they had accomplished for Ichigo, they had been able to bring many of his friends from the human world

[This morning he'd been sent off, almost immediately, on some ridiculous errand, and now out of nowhere a butterfly had been sent calling him back to the office for something 'urgent'.

He sighed and scratched the back of his head, pulling the door open.]

Akane... What's---

[He tilted his head at the sight of everyone he knew in his office, and a cake. He looked over at a calendar on the wall.]

...................It's my birthday?

[Akane went over to Ichigo and gave him a big hug.] That's right, silly, you've been so busy with the squad, I guess you lost track of time. Happy birthday!

[Ichigo laughed and hugged her tightly.]

Yeah, I haven't looked at the calendar in weeks. It just kind of snuck up on me. You put this whole thing together?

[She beamed and continued to hug him.] Well, your dad came and talked to me about it last week, so me, him, and your sisters all worked together to set everything up.
