So, I'm working in my office, twisting some wrenches. Yeah, I work in IT, but that includes putting together stuff from time to time that isn't computers. No, I don't understand why. It's just the way it is

I don't know what his name was...When it actually dawned on me I felt really bad. I mean, they were talking about bringing him down to my area at one point, what if his parents were around and heard that...wouldn't have been good.
hey guess what? turns out they're doing a vampire series on hbo directed by alan ball (six feet under) called true blood. dude you might have been onto something there with your doctor vampire idea...cause vampires seem to be making a comeback! now all you need is to:
1) finish the story 2) find some people that want to make it into a movie 3) get money 4) get actors 5) MAKE MOVIE!
I've seen stuff about the new Alan Ball...wonder if it's going to be great? I mean, the guy is batting over a thousand in my book at this point, but usually that's when people falter. Guess we'll see in September.
Hey, do YOU want to invest in an independent film?
I really should start thinking about a medical based documentary, I'm sure I could get pretty good access to doctors and nurses, and I know at least one person would help with some fundage, and I might be able to get more around the Hospitals...got any ideas? I'll give you a credit!
hmmm invest....like...with money? i was thinking more along the lines of big, corporate type sponsers and stuff. don't they usually have a lot of money?
i dunno if the vampire series is gonna be any good, but it's based on a series by Charlaine Harris, so i guess the hard part is already done for him.
anywho. documentaries...has anyone done one on the "nursing shortage" going on? from my experience, the shortage comes from the working conditions on the floors (hospitals forcing nursing to take 6-7 patients on day shift and sometimes with no help) and not enough money. plus the staffing agencies that come in and help in the crisis situations (like the one i work for) - they're doing the same job but making $15-$20 more an hour for their work. WTF!
hmmmm. that might not be interesting enough to be a big hit. you need a michael moore type idea. sorry - i'm fresh outta billion dollar ideas today. but if i come up with one, i'll def pass it along. =)
