Everything you're wondering and wanting are alike to me as well. The whole macho thing is just stereotypes, and men will fulfill that stereotype within them just because it is just that....a stereotype....and they're not mature enough to realize that it shouldn't be like that and that all men are different.

As far as wanting to feel good, cared about, etc.....it kinda ties in with the macho thing. A big reason why some guys act all macho is because they think those other feelings show weakness, and therefore they think they need to cover them up. Imagine how different the world would be otherwise.

I gotta agree with Chrissy, also. It's better that you're like that instead of acting like you're still stuck in high school and that everything is a popularity contest like a lot of other college students out there, lover boy.
