I hate it when I invite a guy friend to do something and he makes it awkward like I'm asking him out on a date.

This has happened multiple times recently with different people.

Now I know how some guys feel.

That's one of the reasons I plan more group activities than solo stuff with guy friends. Guys who get solo time with me are usually either old friends or people I'm dating/have dated.

It's less trouble that way, plus I like observing how new friends react to my older friends (and vice-versa)--that's been a really good way to tell what kind of person the new guy friend is.
