Strange behaviour

NWN. I've just entered Luskan, and suddenly my henchman has started ignoring fights and just standing there instead of helping out. Clicking on his radial menu to tell him to attack nearest/guard me/etc has no effect. Anyone else come across this or have any idea how to fix it? I'm currently reinstalling the main programme, but I can't reinstall
