Trick or Treat Letter
Hi! Thank you so much for writing for me! I'm sure I'll love whatever you come up with.
I'm PS, and I'm The_Plaid_Slytherin on AO3.
My favorite aspects of Halloween are the more whimsical ones - candy, trick-or-treating, costumes, and "fun" scary. I don't like gore or horror, but I do like traditional Halloween characters like ghosts, witches, and vampires - just friendly or not-real sorts. I'm big into the general season of fall, too - the weather, the moon, the leaves, all of it.
Wants: Romance, fluff, smut, hurt/comfort, friendship, family, canon-divergence AUs, happy endings, characters taking care of each other. My taste in smut runs to the less-kinky - I love first times where they're just learning what makes each other tick and established relationship where they already know, tenderness/touching, and a focus on the characters' feelings. I've listed ships, but I am happy with gen, too; I'd just prefer that they not be paired with other people.
Do Not Wants: Horror, gore/graphic violence (canon-typical stuff as not-the-focus is okay), overwhelming angst, character death, rape/non-con, incest, underage sex, AUs that are another setting (e.g., modern times, they're all pirates), sad or hopeless endings.
Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling (Horace Slughorn)
My ships, if they interest you: Horace/Albus, Horace/Minerva
A Halloween party would be perfect here, and Horace's age means there's a wide range in the canon timeline for a setting. I'd love to see any stage of his life - from HBP to all the way back to his schooldays. I'm really curious what it would have been like for him as a Slytherin in school, or as a young(er) teacher. I'd love to see his interactions with just about anyone. And of course, there are ghosts and spooky stuff all over the castle.
A Song of Ice and Fire - George R. R. Martin (Stannis Baratheon, Renly Baratheon)

I suppose a harvest festival of some sort is the closest to Halloween we would get here, and that would be nice, or something that captures the spooky atmosphere of fall, or the spookiness of exploring old castles/crypts. I'm really interested in the Baratheon brothers' childhoods (or, at least, I suppose, Renly's childhood and Stannis' young adulthood) and would really like to see something that explores their relationship before it fell apart. I love these two best, but Robert can come play, too, if you like.
But really, I love everything about these two, so if you only matched on one, I'd be equally happy with either. The Rebellion, including the Siege of Storm's End, is of particular interest to me, as is its immediate aftermath, with Stannis sent to Dragonstone and Renly elevated to lordship. I'm also really intrigued by how things were playing out in King's Landing before Stannis took his toys and went home left and Robert went to get Ned.
Battlestar Galactica (2003) (Saul Tigh)
My ships, if they interest you: Bill/Saul
This is another one with no Halloween, but something in fall would work well, too. Or nothing. The seasonal theme kind of falls apart when the show is set in space! Anything set pre-canon would make me happy; I love Bill and Saul's time working on the freighter, or their early years back in the fleet, or the time when just Bill was in and Saul was kicking around somewhere. The missing year on New Caprica would be a fun setting, too. My favorite moments on the show were the ones with them just hanging out together. I'm interested in the aspects of Saul canon didn't shed much light on - his piloting, his tactical mind, his similarities to Kara (and the K/L parallels with B/S), so something on that wavelength would be awesome, too.
