I know this probably doesnt help at all but, what ive found is that theres just some things that you'll never be able to get out of our mind, especially things that greatly/or have greatly affected your life for a long time. What Ive tried to do is just stop caring that I care. I know it sounds stupid but it works somewhat. If you realise that part of you will always care, maybe you can slowly stop caring, that you'll always care? Sorry for the intrusion :)
