mid-summer boredom

this has been the most interesting summer i have ever had. i have so much to talk about, but everyone i know with whom i can share these things is absent. i think i'm contracting a serious case of cabin fever and i'm not even really stuck at home

it's called From Beiruit to Jerusalem by Thomas Friedman ... it's a little dated, but very moving
