My LJ name is a direct steal from the Cold song "Bleed". It's such a powerful song about the love of music. The main idea of the song is that you get up on stage and you "bleed". You let it all out. Purge yourself of all the bullshit in your life. If you think about the relationship between mind, body and music. Along with that of others around you, it's a really beautiful thing.

Additionally, since music is (and was even more so back then) such a huge part of my life, I thought that "Bleed Music" was fitting.

How's that for a long explanation?

I've been considering starting a new LJ though.............

That's a good reason for a name. I totally understand what you said about music. Music is my life. I don't think I could get by without it. It's gotten me through some rough times. Hell, I have a keyboard (the piano's at my mom's house) to play when I get really down. I seriously need to pull that out again. It's under my bed right now.

Start a new LJ? What's up with that? I have a few people that have decided to do that recently. Well, you do what you need to do, just don't forget about me...make sure I am tagging along.

I agree. You really need to pull that keyboard out from under your bed. You'll remember instantly how much you love it!

I'm changing LJs because this one just isn't me anymore. I look back on entries from 2004, I'm not the same guy.

On top of that, there are a lot of people on my friends list that I'm just not friends with anymore, and I'd just like to start over. Communities too.

I'm not deleting this LJ because I still want to have access to my entries, I just don't want anyone else to have access to them!

And you can bet your bottom dollar that you'll be tagging along!!!

I get it. I do. As long as you are happy with what you are doing. And if this journal isn't doing it for you, you gotta get one that does. Kinda like a prostitute. he he (I swear I'm not nor do I use prostitutes)
