Part two

Feb 04, 2010 12:18

Yesterday morning was one of the best mornings I've had in so so so long. I don't know why, it just was. I was smiling to myself for no reason. I was singing loudly in the car and not caring who saw me (I usually turn it down and stop singing at stop lights). Then the mail came. And there was a certified letter from our primary care family doctor ( Read more... )

The sooner you give yourself permission to feel what you're feeling, the sooner you'll feel better. You have every right in the world to feel anything under the sun. Just because other people in the world have problems doesn't change that you have your own. It doesn't change YOUR REALITY. And you shouldn't compare yourself with other people. That's not fair to you.

Also, WTF kind of doctor gives up on a patient like that? God, I hate our healthcare system!

I KNOW I have the right, but I just don't FEEL like I have a right. Does that make sense?

I know, right?

Thanks!!!!

for once I can't think of a damn thing to say, except that his dr. needs to be taken out and shot, because it seems to me that she has just given up on one of her patients, and that she could possibly do the same thing to her other patients. anyway, I wish there was something I COULD say, but I can't think of anything at all.

You don't have to say anything. That was enough. I agree. None of us will be going to see her any more.

Fyi: It's my husband, not my son, but that's besides the point.

I completely agree. None of us will be going to see her any more and we will be looking for someone more competent.

Thank you.

I hate those letters. Trying to avoid confrontation by sending a letter, is really just being childish. Good luck in finding a more confident doctor.
