as far as the copyright issue, one person i know has had to put big icky watermarks all over her art so no one would steal them (jenn of original-sinner.net, gorgeous work)!
      try putting a transparent watermark over the image - for some people, a little © doesn't mean anything. it's easy enough to manip the picture so it doesn't look stolen.
