You either made it or missed it. Here’s a quick recap of our latest in-store trainings. And here’s a script so you can study up for your star moment “onstage.”
CELLEX-C
A top-of-the-line Vitamin C product to prevent aging. The skillful trainer gave us an in-depth look at the line and clearly explained the products’ advantages. The standout ingredient is Tyrosine, when combined with ascorbic acid, it helps promote regeneration of new connective tissue by stimulating fibroblasts enabling the increased production of collagen. The benefits include dramatically reducing FINE LINES, WRINKLES, AGE SPOTS and SAGGING SKIN. What more does one want?
Top products to sell: High-Potency Serum, Hydra 5 B-Complex, Eye Contour Gel, G.L.A. Eye Balm
Good Point to Know: The Skin Firming Cream Plus is a treatment cream that costs less than $1.79 a day. Forgo your Starbucks vice for some serious skin care.

Kelly introduced the new PhytoSpecific and salon aficionados can’t get enough of it.
Always ask clients “What is your hair type?” Is it dry, color treated, processed, or abused?
Give them PHYTOJOBA Shampoo to heal the hair from the inside out. It is a concentrated product, so less is more to balance your scalp. PHYTOSESAME conditioner is the quickie shower conditioner. The number one product is PHYTODEFRISANT a heat-activated botanical hair relaxing balm. It contains horseradish. The number two product is PHYTOVOLUME ACTIF, a volumizer spray, that was recognized by ALLURE as the beauty editor’s choice. To stimulate the scalp, choose PHYTOPOLLENE once a week. Apply eight stripes of the product to the front and back of your crown to purify and stimulate hair growth. For the upcoming spring and summer, suggest the REPAIR MASK with rush nut oil to provide maximum nourishment.

Nicole let us in on the secrets of the new SUPERNOVA Mascara. It contains Panthenol to give lashes great conditioning effects. Think Pantene for your lashes. She also gave us the 411 on the Soy Face Cleanser, the gentlest cleanser on the market and the Sugar Lip Treatment (Lexi’s fave) for softening those poor, dried-out smackers.
http://www.fresh.com CAROL’S DAUGHTER
What a hit, I must say. Cast members were delighted to sample the yummy concoctions created by Lisa Price, the namesake behind Carol’s Daughter. We shall see these products rolling into the store in the near future and we believe they will hard to keep on the shelves. The delightful Mrs. Jada Pinkett Smith is a spokesmodel, as well as Thalia Mottola and the divine Mary J. Blige.
Carol Daughter’s vision statement is “To be the franchise that is the trusted voice of beauty for people of color.” Well, to be frank, I don’t have a lot of color, but the color I do have makes me want to eat up all of these yummy concoctions straight from Harlem. The key ingredients include Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Soy Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, and Jojoba Oil. The hot products are Jazi Jus Hair Oil, Rosemary Mint Shampoo, Scar Butter, LOVE BUTTER and Groove Eau De Toilette, and Ocean Eau De Toilette. And any of the Body and Bath Oils with the pretty collection of flowers and herbs floating in the bottle for the perfect bathroom accessory.
http://www.carolsdaughter.com CAUDALIE
Think science plus nature. Caudalie gives us the lushness of an escape to the wineries of Italy. “Just as a fine wine gets better with age, so do Caudalie products!”
Our trainer came from New Orleans where her boutique was lost due to Hurricane Katrina. She told us of the new PARABEN-FREE formulas in all Caudalie products. The Pink-colored packaging represents DRY skin. Blue is for NORMAL skin and GREEN is for OILY Skin. Amazingly enough, grape vines can live to be 10,000 years old. Other lines have chemical preservatives that can irritate the skin. Caudalie’s OPC (grape-seed polyphenols) is an exceptional anti-aging ingredient that protects from damaging free radicals. The other two ingredients that make Caudalie exceptional is the Resveratrol (firms and reduces wrinkles) and the Viniferine, a remarkable molecule from vine stalks to help fight dark spots. It’s all about the JAPANESE HONEYSUCKLE that replaces the chemicals paraben and phenoxyethanol.
